What are LED Frame Panel Lights?

LED Frame Panels, also known as Linear Frame Panels, or LED Perimeter Panels, are an alternative to a standard 600 x 600mm LED Panel. Instead of illuminating the full surface area, they light the perimeter of the panel, while still offering the same light output lumen wise.

Available in the usual colour temperatures, 3000K (Warm White) 4000K (Cool White) 6000K (Daylight White), and soon to be available CCT Switchable that includes all 3 in 1 unit, they are suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Where can I use a Frame Panel Light

As Frame Panels are an alternative to standard LED Panels, they can be used in many applications. They are especially effective used as feature lighting in showrooms, reception areas, shop floors, to give the WOW factor first impression.

Similar to standard LED panels, they fit perfectly into a recessed grid, or false ceiling, which are very commonly used in many commercial buildings.

Where Shouldn’t I use an LED Frame Panel Light?

We would not recommend an LED Frame Panel in office areas, where an anti-glare (UGR rated) panel would be more suitable for long periods of time spent working at a computer screen. At this time, LED Frame Panels are not UGR rated, but as technology advances, this could be available in future.

Can an LED Frame Panel be surface mounted?

Yes, LED Frame Panels can be surface mounted, either by directly screwing the frame to a wall or ceiling using the holes in the frame, or by using a surface mount box as you would with a standard LED Panel.

LED Frame Panel Emergency Options?

The same as a standard LED Panel, Frame Panels can be used for Emergency Lighting using an emergency battery pack.
