Description

The T8 LED Tube Dummy Starter enables you to upgrade existing fluorescent fixtures to LED TL tubes without full rewiring. Perfect for retrofitting traditional TL luminaires while maintaining compatibility with your current setup.

Not needed for LED-designed fixtures, which eliminate the starter requirement entirely.

Installation is straightforward. For fixtures with multiple tubes, switch off power, remove old TL tubes and ballast, consolidate the live and neutral wires to one side of the socket, insert the LED TL with the L N Input connector positioned correctly, then restore power. For single-tube fixtures with an existing starter, simply replace the old starter with the supplied LED starter, install your new LED TL tube, and power on.

This dummy starter makes the transition to energy-efficient LED lighting quick and cost-effective—no need for expensive fixture replacement.
