The standard B22, or Bayonet Cap (BC) lamp base is found in many UK fittings, including overhead fixtures, reading, or floor lamps. Installed with a simple push and twist action, the bayonet bulb base measures 22mm across the diameter of the cap. B22 lamps come in a variety of sizes and styles, including GLS, Golf Ball, and Candle types.
